Chocolate Transfer Sheet Autumn Stripe

These lovely chocolate transfer sheets are perfect to enhance your homemade chocolate decorations. They certainly add that extra twist - everyone will be impressed with how you did it!! :-). 

Chocolate Transfer sheets are food-grade acetate sheets which have a cocoa butter pattern sprayed onto them, so the patterns are edible.

They work by transferring their pattern directly on to either chocolate (with melted couverture buttons) or sugar paste (with a heat tool such as a hairdryer). They are one use only.  Once the pattern is on the chocolate/sugar paste, they cannot be used again.

Please note these transfer sheets are very delicate, we will ensure they are rolled and protected, they will also be checked before backing by our admin team. Once despatched we cannot take any responsibility for any marks; treat them like you would treat gold leaf - very delicate. Unfortunately, we cannot replace them once despatched, due to our double-checking before they leave the building.

Usage on Chocolate:

For large projects, pour your melted chocolate direct onto the rough side of the transfer sheet and allow the chocolate to go tacky, and then use a cutter if necessary, to get the shape you want.  Leave to set.  Then peel off the acetate to leave the design on your chocolate.

For small projects such as individual chocolates, cut the transfer sheets to size before you start, pour your chocolate into the moulds, then apply rough side down onto the flat surface area as soon as possible whilst the chocolate is still liquid, and allow to set.  Then peel off the acetate to leave the design on your chocolate.

Usage on Sugar Paste:

Roll out your sugar paste to the desired size/shape, using cutters if needed, and cut the transfer sheet to size, just slightly larger than the paste.  Lay the transfer sheet rough side down on top of the paste.  Using a hairdryer on a medium heat setting, continually move the hairdryer all around the paste, approx. 2-3 inches (5-7cm) above the paste to gently warm it.  Then leave to cool completely, before peeling off the acetate.

Transfer sheets should be stored in a cool, dry dark place away from light. They do not need to be stored in a fridge. Transfer sheets shelf life is approx. 18 months from purchase.
