What are Callebaut Chocolate products?
Callebaut produces a fabulous range of Belgian chocolate products. The company has been making chocolate for more than 100 years and is relied on every day by chefs and chocolatiers to create great tasting delights.
The range consists of chocolate nibs, instant powder mousse and crispearls.
The chocolate nibs in a "callet" shape, are exceptionally easy to melt, temper or even use as chocolate chips in your baking. The shape of the callet allows melting to be much more consistent, due to it's large surface area. The chocolate comes in white, milk, ruby and dark flavours, and is available in 1kg and 2.5kg bags.
The instant powder mousse is very easy to make up - just mix with milk. it comes in milk, white and dark chocolate varieties, and has a lovely smooth, velvety texture. Due to it's high chocolate content, it produces a great tasting mousse that can be used in a variety of ways - the rich texture is perfect for piping into glasses, producing quenelles for embellishing other desserts, or even using as a covering for larger cakes as an alternative to ganache or fondant.
The Crispearls are shiny pearls of high qualtiy Belgian chocolate with a delicious biscuit, crunchy centre, ideal for sprinkling on cakes, ice cream and desserts for a delicious topping. Available in white, milk, ruby and dark chocolate flavours.
