Baking Recipe
You’ll be amazed at how simple and easy our caramel sauce recipe is, with only 4 ingredients.
As a result, this sauce is prefect for drizzling over cakes to ice cream and pretty much anything you want to add some luxurious sweetness to.
It is made by mixing caramelized sugar with cream. Depending on the recipe, you can also add ingredients such as butter, fruit purees, liquors or vanilla. Perfect to use as flavouring in desserts and as fillings too.
Why buy in store, when you make it at home with 4 simple ingredients.
It can keep up to 2 weeks in an airtight container stored in the refrigerator. Caramel sauce also freezes well. Place in a freezer-safe container once it has cooled and freeze for up to 3 months.

1. Tip the sugar into a heavy-based frying pan add 4 tablespoons water. Swirl the saucepan, don’t stir. Place over a medium heat until the sugar has dissolved.
2. Turn up the heat and bubble for 4-5 minutes until you have caramel, do not stir, this is very important, you need to wait until it all desolves, maybe move the pan in a circle motion.
3. Take off the heat and carefully stir in the cream and butter.
4. Leave the sauce to cool and then tip into a squeezy bottle.
Ideally warm for a few seconds before use to make the consistency more runny for drizzles.
