1. Place the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.
2. Add the sugar syrup to 750ml of Prosecco and serve. Alternatively, you can keep it in the fridge in a sealed container once cooled and keep it for up to 8 weeks.
