Pineapple Puffs

Pineapple Puffs are a delicious fruity pasty dessert, which is so easy to make, you will love it and your friends will think you’ve bought them.

These Pineapple Puffs are finished off perfectly with a dusting of icing sugar, Get Natural Flavoured Icing Sugar here!

Ingredients:

• 1 pack of ready made puff pasty
• 1 tin of pineapple rings – drained and dried
• a few raspberries for decoration
• 1 egg beaten
• Flavoured Icing Sugar to sieve across the top

Method:

1. Cut pasty into squares larger than the pineapple rings, about 1cm around.
2. Place on to a baking tray lined with baking paper.
3. Place the pineapple ring centre of the square.
4. Cut the corner only, all 4 corners, 1 cm – the best way to explain is a L shape cut with both lengths even.
5. Bring the outside edge of the corners to the middle of the pineapple, tuck in.
6. Add a Raspberry to the centre of the pineapple ring over the tucked pastry.
7. Brush the puff pastry only with the beaten egg.
8. Bake at 180 for 20-25 minutes
9. Leave to cool, then dust with the flavoured icing sugar.
