In fact, this strawberry soup is very easy and simple to make. You’ll be amazed that just five ingredients can create something so spectacular! This chilled strawberry soup is certain to become a new summertime favorite.
Strawberries, red wine, brandy and Sugar and Crumbs Cinnamon Swirl Natural Flavoured Icing Sugar (or any flavour of your choice) are blended together to make a warm, frothy liquid that goes beautifully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a swirl of double cream.

1. 1. Start by measuring out the red wine, brandy, caster sugar and Sugar and Crumbs Cinnamon Swirl Natural Flavoured Icing Sugar (or any flavour of your choice) into a small saucepan.
2. Then, warm gently, stirring regularly, until the sugar has completely dissolved.
3. Hull the strawberries and cut into halves or quarters if the strawberries are especially big.
4. Add them to the pan and leave to simmer over a low heat for a few minutes.
5. Remove the pan from the heat and use an immersion blender to puree the fruit until you have a lovely smooth, frothy mixture.
6. Pour into glasses, top with a drizzle of cream, and serve straightaway.
