Sweet, chewy, and full of warm autumn spices, these Spiced Apple Blondies are the perfect twist on a classic blondie. 🍎 With chunks of apple and a hint of cinnamon, they’re cosy, comforting, and impossible to stop at just one square!
Ingredients
Blondie
- 240g butter
- 360g soft brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 25g Caramelised Biscuit Flavour Shot
- 210g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- pinch salt
- 1 medium apple, peeled, cored and cubed
Glaze
- 130g Velvet Vanilla Natural Flavoured Icing Sugar
- 2tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1tbsp butter (melted)
Method
- Preheat your oven to 175 and line a brownie tin with greaseproof paper (leaving a bit of over hang to help you remove the blondie from the tray).
- In a large bowl, add the butter and sugar. Microwave until the butter is melted and give it a good mix.
- Add the eggs one at a time and beat the mixture well.
- Now you can sift in the flour, Flavour Shot, baking powder and salt. Give the mixture a really good beat.
- Fold in the cubed apple pieces.
- Pour the batter into your lined brownie tin and and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-45 mins until a skewer comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely in the tin.
- To make the glaze, combine the Natural Flavoured Icing Sugar with the Maple syrup and melted butter.
- Pour all over the blondie and spread evenly. Allow to set before serving.
