Pineapple Puffs are a delicious fruity pasty dessert, which is so easy to make, you will love it and your friends will think you’ve bought them.
These Pineapple Puffs are finished off perfectly with a dusting of icing sugar, Get Natural Flavoured Icing Sugar here!
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of ready made puff pasty
- 1 tin of pineapple rings – drained and dried
- a few raspberries for decoration
- 1 egg beaten
- Flavoured Icing Sugar to sieve across the top
Method:
- Cut pasty into squares larger than the pineapple rings, about 1cm around.
- Place on to a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Place the pineapple ring centre of the square.
- Cut the corner only, all 4 corners, 1 cm – the best way to explain is a L shape cut with both lengths even.
- Bring the outside edge of the corners to the middle of the pineapple, tuck in.
- Add a Raspberry to the centre of the pineapple ring over the tucked pastry.
- Brush the puff pastry only with the beaten egg.
- Bake at 180 for 20-25 minutes
- Leave to cool, then dust with the flavoured icing sugar.
