Snowflake Crisps are a delicious Nougat like treat made from marshmallows, milk powder and a few other basic ingredients.
To make the Snowflake Crisps pictured, I have used Strawberry Just Flavour. Take a look at the full range of Just Flavour here!
Ingredients:
- 200g white marshmallows
- 50g butter
- 50g milk powder plus a little more for sprinkling
- 2tsp Just Flavour
- 150h crackers/biscuits
- 100g nuts and dried fruits
- 35g freeze-dried fruit
Method:
- Place the butter into a heavy bottomed pan over a medium heat, stirring continuously.
- Now add the marshmallows and continue stirring.
- Once completely melted add the milk powder and just flavour, then stir until well combined.
- In a separate bowl (lightly greased with vegetable oil), add the crackers, nuts and dried fruit, and freeze-dried fruit.
- Pour over the marshmallow mixture and fold together using your hands (again, lightly greased with vegetable oil) to mix.
- Once all of the ingredients are coated, tip the mixture into a lined brownie tin and push down to compact.
- Sprinkle the surface with the extra milk powder and set aside to firm up.
- Cut into cubes and enjoy your Snowflake Crisps!
